2-9-17

Ok,  I am a day late posting my weekly update.  I completed the first week of 500 crunches in 5 days, and oh my gosh am I sore.  I lost some inches because my pants are fitting better, but I didn't loose any weight, instead I gained .2 lbs. Ooh, that's annoying, but after some research and checking with others, I found that a slight weight gain is normal after starting a workout.  Here's hoping that my next weight check will show results.

Feb 1, 2017


Oh dear, I forgot to create my blog when starting this journey into not only weight loss but hopefully a life change.  A summary of what has happened from January 1st to January 31st of this year.
  • January 1st diet and exercise start
    • starting weight - 210.0 lbs (ouch)
    • grabbed my fitbit and starting walking
      • 9071 steps on first day nice
      • my goal was only 7500 steps for the first month, and for the majority of the time I not only met that goal, I beat that goal into submission.
      • only negative to this is that I am allergic to my fitbit band
    • Added more fruits and vegetables back into my diet
      • only bad part to this is that I can no longer eat hamburgers (waah)
Now here we are at February 2017,  last month I did not take any pictures or measurements of my waist.  So lets rectify that...
  •  my waist measurement is 47" (I actually got 46.5" on the second try, but when measuring again, 47")
  • my weight is 194.6 lbs, (I lost 15.4 lbs in a month...yes)

So to rectify this I am adding the 500 crunches in 5 days challenge starting on 2-2-17.  I will be working on these crunches on Thurs-Sat, skipping Sunday, then on Mon and Tues.  Wish me luck that I don't kill my back.
